I'd say Joe Riley is probably one of my top 10 most underrated riders out there right now. The kid can kill everything in his way and has mad style to boot. Joe's buddy Matt just sent this over of him. Enjoy!
After going over all of the t-shirt designs for the contest we finally found a winner. Congrats goes out to Jon Edwards for a simple design that includes the Volume Bikes fundamental design concept (musically inspired).
Again, thanks for all of those who entered the contest and we'll have another one up soon.
Biz is now out on the Local Exposure tour. So grab your copy of the new RIDEUK with his interview, and I'm sure if you offer to buy him some plain, all drums at your local Hooters, he'll autograph it for you.
Hey i just got back from Barcelona and road fools. Barcelona was amazing we stayed in this condo right next to the beach. There are so many good spots so close to each other i couldn't believe it. We found pretty much the only bike shop in town and they had volume and demolition stuff so that was kinda cool. our tour guide had kind of a temper when it came to people kicking us out of spots. Well we only got kicked out of one spot the whole time. so we were riding this spot on the bridge and this police man stops on the road below gets out of his car and is yelling at us to leave or he was going to take our bikes. Our tour guide gets pissed that the cop was kicking us out starts yelling back at the cop and tried grabbing this brick out of the planter box to throw at the cop it was pretty intense. Road Fools was just as fun the crew was awesome. We started in Phoenix stayed there for like a week since there was so much to ride. It was 100 degrees the majority of the time so there was a lot of night sessions. Then we went down to Tucson for a day rode some pretty good ditches and this cougar permission pool. We got there kinda late and they had it all lit up for us. It was weird having like 15 dudes all at a pool session that doesn't happen often. We ended up in San Diego we had to do a demo at the levi's store that was pretty fun. Well that's about it for now.
Check out the new RIDE UK (issue #115 May 08) with Ryan 'Biz' Jordan's interview. He's got some absolutely crazy tricks in there that only Biz can pull off.
Our main man Ed Subias (Chinchilla Man) just finished the SF trip video (can't miss it since it's on the main page) Big thanks goes out to Joey Cobbs for all the banger spots. Enjoy!
One of our best fans Fernando Reyes painted these. We are honored to have someone spend the time to actually paint something revolving around Volume. Thanks again Fernando.
Went out today with Surrey Steve to try and get my clip count for a split part with Eman, that we've been working on.Found this random cement satellite dish in the middle of a new play ground.I got my fly out on. Its hard to believe from the first few pics that it would be snowing about an hour later
