NoWhereFast

Found this gem buried in my closet the other day. It's a Christmas card from Dave Parrick i got after the release of NoWhereFast.
There was a 100$ bill inside, that i can't seem to find anywhere. Filming for NoWhereFast was my first ever trip to California. I was actually here to film for a Kink video , who i was riding for at the time. The Kink video never ended up happening and all my footage from my first week in California went into NoWhereFast.

180 Distribution

With the move of Volume Bikes/ Demolition Parts into a new building in Santa Fe Springs, CA, we also decided to have both brands under one global distribution name of 180 Distribution.

Volume Bikes/ Demolition Parts has been out of Buena Park, Ca for the last 11 years. With the growth of our brands, we felt the urgency to move into a bigger building that we can grow into for years ahead. 180 Distribution will have better stock of products and the same expert knowledge of goods and support from our own staff of riders. With 180 Distribution we're also excited for all of the opportunities that lie ahead.

Flashback

This was my first picture in RideBMX. It was shot at the B3 contest in Rhode Island early 97'. This was also my first time riding in the pro class at a contest. I rode amateur the day before and thought i could make the jump up and ride with the big boys. Paul Buchanan also has a shot on the same page, we both rode for Basic Bikes and were room mates at this time.

We've been in the same building in Buena Park, CA for the last 11 years and we finally outgrew it and moved on up to a bigger/ better building in Santa Fe Springs, CA. Gonna miss the good times we've had there and all the random homeless people sleeping in our boxes in Buena Park.  Adios.

Damn, these dudes are absolutely killing it. They're getting so good and this video is proof of just that.  The intro is really good too.  Lil-D wearing a hat to bed and the painted window on Chris' shack is priceless.  Good job boys!

Rob and Tate

You might be asking yourself, "what does Rob Wise do in the rain?" Rob works on his car and when he gets tired of the color, he goes to Home Depot to get some spray paint. I'm sure it's a different color by now too. The picture above is kinda old. Rob rules!

Drew Hosselton Flashback?

"About 10 years ago I saw the GT Team ride a demo at some small shitty bike shop in Illinois. Rob Nollie was blasting the hell out of their portable quarterpipe which blew me away because I had never seen something like that in person. I rode a demo at ASU west last week on the same exact ramp Rob was destroying 10 years before. My buddy Zan B snapped this pic of me doing a table on it." Drew.

Flashback

Classic Castillo at the Moreno Valley skate park. After years of seeing this park in magazines and video's, it was one of the places i had to ride when i first came to California. When i finally got my chance, the park was well past its prime and definitely didn't live up to my expectations. The wind, dust, and lifted edges of the sheet metal laying never seemed to effect Brian.
