O.S. BMX Style

I just saw these really cool old school BMX pics over at trackosaurusrex.com. Check out the whole reel over at rappensuncle flickr.com page. Is it just me or was there way more style going on back then. Dudes had style for miles on those steel old BMX frames w/ banana seats. Just look at that air out of the ditch above, that's amazing on that bike!

Matty's Last day

The rain finally let up on Saturday. It was also Matty's last day in California. We hit a ton of spots and Matty definitely made the most of his last day. Click below for some more pics.

First spot of the day, bright and early. It was still a bit wet from all the rain, but that didn't stop Matty from getting shit done.

A day of riding with the crew wouldn't be complete without of skateboarding sidekick. Biz clocking footy, regular and.......

.....switch

Matty wanted to go to this rail pretty bad. We had to cover a lot of distance to make it happen and he didn't disappoint.

If your wondering what happened next, your gonna have to wait till Matty's next web vid drops.

What's next

I just heard that these same monkeys just recently learned how to bunnyhop. We're all in trouble if they progress anymore than that!

Rainy Days

The rains in California have eaten up almost half of Matty's trip. Luckily Rooftop invited us for a session at the Hurley TF in Costa Mesa the other day. It was the only session we got in the last week. Thanks Mike, click below for a few more pics.

Biz' ribs were still sore from his rail crash earlier in the week, so he stuck to 4 wheels for the day. Crooked grind. Will Biz be the next skater to start a bike company?

Matty buzzed his shoulder on this invert, but my HP digi cam was a bit slow on this one.

Matty does his best to get his fix , since its expected to keep raining for a few more days.

Biz goes down

Our very own, Ryan "Biz" Jordan went down hard yesterday while freestyle walking on a rail. Above is the before and after shots. Biz was looking solid until his wet sneaker failed him, leaving him falling on his stomach and knocking the wind out of him. We'll be praying for a quick recovery for ya Biz.

Field Trip

Matty Long has been in town with his brother Chris enjoying the California winter. We met up with Alf, Lil D and Tommy Blanco yesterday and hit up a few parks and spots. Click below to see the pics from the day.

Lil D, ice

Biz goes up.

D did this barspin a few times for me. his was the best one i got, sorry D.

Alf, ice to hang over mid line.

Matty, luc-e down the rail.

Camouflage

Biz challenged Matty to a nose wheelie contest on this ledge. This was Biz' best and longest attempt.

Matty says the secret to long nose wheelies is a minimum of 7 hours a day of Halo.

Biz claims that when he was a kid, he did the loop on a swing set. Here he gives it his best try with no luck.
